Fyakin, who is from St. Andrew, Jamaica, began his professional career in 2005. He's had the fortune to work with a variety of producers as well as perform on some of Jamaica's most popular stage shows. In late 2011 Fyakin traveled from Jamaica to Burlington, VT (USA) for a video shoot of "Old Vibes" (Upsetta Records). In fact it was during that lengthy excursion that Fyakin penned the lyrics for "Journey".
